how hard would it be to make one portable 120 volt ac 60 Hz two outlet plug from solar panels? it would be used on job sites for power tools with medium length extension chords and other portable appliances.
this application would tyicaly draw a lot of amps.
ouch! ok. just wondering. there are no dumb questions, [...]

Good Day,
The battery chargers are proprietary to a Nikon D70 camera and Epson P2000 photo storage- viewer.
I'd like to use this system during a remote canoe trip.
thank you,
glenn
A 10w charger will require roughly 5 hours of light to recharge a D70 battery. Check out Sundance Solar for some great options.
But eh, why are you [...]

I am renting an apartment and the heat works with OIL, which is very expensive. I am trying to find some portable heaters that work with solar energy/panels. Does anyone know something about this? I have looked for info surfing the web, but nothing concrete. Any kind of Solar energy storage from Solar panels to [...]

You need the following:
- Solar panel(s)
- Batteries
- Charging regulator
- Low voltage cutoff
These last two will keep your battery from dying quickly. They are often in the same device now. Expensive, but much cheaper than new batteries every year (I had to learn the hard way on this one).
The most difficult part is estimating [...]

I'm going to be mounting several pieces on a dolly such as a plastic bin to hold a battery inside, a voltage regulator, and inverter will be on top and a solar panel on the top (50 watt).
If you ground a circuit, then it isn't floating is it?
Since you don't know electricity, you should consult [...]

Are there basic solar panels out there that could just power something fairly small, such as a laptop? On that same note, do they make portable solar panels?
"try checking in out in goggle"
Are you kidding me? That's not an answer. And you spelled Google wrong, too. Holy crap, this place is [...]

Just read about this folding wobbly material looking bag that folds out to charge a laptop, well impressive if you have to travel around. Wonder if one of you is using one now and how good they are.
I have thought about it, one of the big problems that I have is the Internet connection.
however [...]

Can a 5w 12v Trickle Solar Panel charge a deep cycle marine battery?
And if yes how long would it take to come from nothing to be fully charged?
first, marine batteries are not deep cycle batteries. they are extra heavy duty-heavy duty car batteries. probably designed for marine use in marine vehicles in place of land [...]
